Dear Jacob Collier,
Over the last couple days I tried to reach you for an interview. I am a proud volunteer for the Metropole Orkest and for their new MoRE: Magazine I wanted to write a story on the concert you and Snarky Puppy’s impeccable Cory Henry will do with the great Jules Buckley and the MO at the North Sea Jazz Festival this summer.
You’re totally excused that you didn’t respond, because you had better things to do, to use the understatement of the Milennium. Like rehearsing at Quincy Jones‘ house with the best a-capella group in the world, TAKE 6, for a performance in the television show of Tavis Smiley.
When I watched it and listened to it, I was totally stunned. This is so disproportionally good, I have no words for it. The only reaction I could give, was cry a little.
You’re one hell of a talent, Jacob Collier, one hell of a talent…
